Scope

This standard specifies a method for determining the oil content in oil-extended rubber. This standard applies to oil-extended styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), oil-extended butadiene rubber (BR), oil-extended styrene-butadiene block copolymer (SBS) and oil-extended ethylene-propylene-bis Olefin copolymer (EPDM).
