Scope

This standard specifies the water quality requirements for feed water, boiler water, steam return water and make-up water when industrial boilers are in operation. This standard applies to fixed steam boilers, dual-purpose steam boilers and hot water boilers with a rated outlet steam pressure of less than 3.8 MPa and water as the medium. This standard does not apply to boilers made of aluminum.
