Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, supply methods, packaging and marking of copper-copper-nickel (copper-nickel) thermocouple wires. This standard applies to the manufacture of industrial copper-copper-nickel (constantan) thermocouple (T-type thermocouple) alloy wire (hereinafter referred to as the wire).
