This standard specifies the type, main dimensions, material codes and markings, marking examples, requirements, testing, installation, factory documents, packaging, and transportation of mechanical seals for glass-lined stirring shafts installed on the upper part of glass-lined mixing vessels. This standard is applicable to glass-lined mixing with design pressure -0.1 MPa to 1.6 MPa, design temperature -40 ℃ to 200 ℃, stirring shaft (or sleeve) outer diameter 40 mm to 160 mm, and shaft linear speed less than 2 m/s. Containers are mechanically sealed.
