This standard specifies the gas chromatography method for the determination of styrene in air. This standard applies to the determination of industrial waste gas and gaseous styrene in the air. When the sampling volume was 2L, the minimum detectable concentration was 0.0027mg/m3. Under the selected chromatographic conditions, organic compounds such as benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, xylene, cumene and propylbenzene in the sample do not interfere with the determination of styrene.
