- This standard specifies the activated carbon adsorption/carbon disulfide desorption-gas chromatography method for the determination of benzene series in the air. This standard is applicable to the determination of benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, o-xylene, m-xylene, p-xylene, cumene and styrene in ambient air and indoor air. This standard is also applicable to the determination of benzene series compounds in low-humidity exhaust gas at room temperature.
