This standard specifies the basic regulations for the design of petrochemical pipe rack structures, loads and seismic effects, pipe rack calculations, pipe rack structural construction and pipe pier design, etc. This standard is applicable to the design of pipe racks and pipe piers in petrochemical and coal chemical engineering projects. It is not suitable for the design of pipelines themselves as stress-bearing structures and other large-scale pipe racks spanning rivers.
