- This standard specifies the basic provisions for petrochemical pipe racks, load and seismic action calculations, pipe rack calculations, pipe rack structural construction and pipe pier design regulations. This specification is applicable to the design of pipe racks and pipe piers for petrochemical industry. This code does not apply to the design of pipelines themselves as stress-bearing structures and other large-spanning pipe racks across rivers.
