Scope

This standard specifies the recommended characteristics of electrical relay contact loads for use in contact life tests over the voltage and current ranges specified in the "Application Category". Priority values are specified for each type of load, including relays and cables. After further consideration, the names and values of various tables in this standard are slightly different from the provisions in GB/T14598.1 "Contact Performance of Electrical Relays and Electrical Relays". The detail specification shall quote preferred values for these contact loads, but in specific applications additional characteristics may be specified (eg inrush current in contact load circuits, lamp loads or motor loads).
