Scope
This International Standard describes methods for determining the total sulfur and chlorine content in biogenic solid fuels. This International Standard specifies two methods for the digestion of the fuel and different analytical methods for the quantitative determination of the elements in the digestion solutions. The use of automatic devices is also included in this International Standard, provided that validation is carried out as specified in the document and the performance data is similar to that of the method described in this International Standard.
