- This standard specifies the manufacturing method, surface characteristics, sample classification, surface roughness parameters, evaluation methods, structural dimensions and signs of wooden parts for surface roughness comparison samples. This standard is applicable to the surface roughness comparison samples of wooden parts processed by sanding, milling, planing, turning and other methods. The sample block is used for comparison with a surface with a similar structure and texture and the same processing method. The surface roughness of wooden parts is evaluated visually and tactilely. It can also be used as a reference basis for the selection of surface roughness of wooden parts.
