Scope: This standard specifies the manufacturing method, surface characteristics, sample classification, surface roughness parameters, evaluation methods, structural dimensions and marks of wooden parts for comparison of surface roughness. This standard is applicable to rough surface comparison samples of wooden parts processed by sanding, milling, planing, turning and other methods. The sample block is used to compare with the surface with similar structural texture and the same processing method, and evaluate the surface roughness of wooden parts by visual and tactile senses. It can also be used as a reference basis for the selection of surface roughness parameter values of wooden parts.
