- This standard specifies the principle, reagents, instruments, analysis steps, calculation and presentation of results, precision, quality assurance and control, etc. for the determination of nitrate nitrogen in soil leachate by ultraviolet spectrophotometry. This standard applies to the determination of nitrate nitrogen in soil. The detection limit of this method for soil nitrate nitrogen is 0.5 mg/kg, and the quantification limit is 1 mg/kg.
