Scope

This part of GB/T 3074 specifies the measurement principle, equipment, sample preparation, test procedure and result calculation of graphite electrode thermal expansion coefficient. This part applies to ordinary power, high power, ultra-high power graphite electrodes and other solid carbon materials whose total expansion at 600 °C does not exceed 1 mm, and the temperature range is the coefficient of thermal expansion from room temperature to 600 °C. If you need to test the coefficient of thermal expansion in other temperature ranges, you can refer to this method.
