Scope
This standard specifies the safety requirements for laboratory reactors (excluding glass reactors) under normal and extended environmental conditions (see Appendix A). This standard also specifies the method for verifying whether the equipment complies with the requirements of this standard through inspection and type testing. This standard applies to reactors with a geometric volume less than 25 L and a design pressure not greater than 35 MPa.
