This standard specifies the determination of total rare earth content by chlorophosphine III photometry, oxalate mass method, and EDTA volumetric method, determination of silicon content by mass method and volumetric method, photometric method of chlorophosphine I, copper reagent separation EDTA complex titration Methods such as method, ICP inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry method to determine the total magnesium content, and ICP inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry method to determine the magnesium oxide content. This standard is applicable to the determination of total rare earth content, silicon, total magnesium and magnesium oxide content in rare earth magnesium-silicon alloys.
