Scope

This standard specifies the high performance liquid chromatography and liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry for the determination of 12 nitroimidazoles in toothpaste (as shown in Table 1). This standard applies to the determination of the above 12 nitroimidazoles in toothpaste. HPLC method detection limit (for all targets): 3 μg/g, lower limit of quantitation (for all targets): 10 μg/g; liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry detection limit (for all targets) : 0.3 μg/g; lower limit of quantitation (for all targets) 1 μg/g.
