Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, labels, instruction manuals, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of pitch control systems for grid-connected wind turbines. This standard applies to the pitch control system for grid-connected horizontal axis (three-blade wind turbine) wind turbines. The drive mode of the pitch control is hydraulic drive or electric drive.
