Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of water-based ink ballpoint pens and refills. This standard applies to water-based ink ballpoint pens (refillable and non-refillable) and refills (hereinafter referred to as "water-based ballpoint pens" and "refills") for general writing and document writing.
