GB/T 31527-2015
Scope
This standard specifies the tensile test method for NbTi/Cu composite superconducting wire at room temperature. This test method is used to measure the modulus of elasticity, specify the plastic elongation strength (resulting from the yielding of Cu in the composite), and the tensile strength. The elongation after fracture and the Class II specified plastic elongation strength defined by the yield of NbTi in the composition are for reference only (see A.1 and A.2). This standard is suitable for testing circular or rectangular cross-section samples without insulating coating with a cross-sectional area of 0.15 mm2~2 mm2 and a copper ratio between 1.0 and 8.0.
