Scope

This standard specifies the friction coefficient test methods for lightweight flat transmission belts and polyamide sheet-based flat belts (hereinafter referred to as flat belts) and poly-V belts (PK type) with a base thickness not exceeding 0.5 mm. This standard is suitable for measuring the friction coefficient of flat belts and poly-V belts (PK type) under specified conditions.
