Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and model nomenclature, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of electromagnetic vibration air pumps for aquariums and similar purposes. This standard applies to electromagnetic vibration air pumps (hereinafter referred to as "air pumps") with a rated voltage of no more than 250V AC, no more than 400V DC, and a rated current of no more than 16A; it is mainly used to increase the oxygen content of water in aquariums and aquaculture farms , It can also be used in other similar places that need to provide air pressure and volume. Air pumps for health care, bathroom accessories and similar special-purpose air pumps can be implemented by reference. This standard does not apply to pumps delivering gases other than air.
