Scope

This standard specifies the method for leaching residual acrylamide from polyacrylamide and determining its content by gas chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of residual acrylamide content in powdery and colloidal non-ionic polyacrylamide and anionic polyacrylamide. This standard applies to the determination of samples with acrylamide content higher than 0.01%, especially higher than 0.05%.
