Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, etc. of transient overvoltage suppressors (TOSE) for wind turbines-doubly-fed asynchronous generators. The TOSE specified in this standard is applicable to grid-connected doubly-fed asynchronous wind turbines operating on land with an AC rated voltage up to 690V, in compliance with the provis ons of IEC 61400-24:2010.
