Scope: This part of SY/T 6423 specifies the requirements for detecting defects in straight or spiral welds of molten arc welded pipes using computerized radiography (CR) or digital X-ray radiography with a digital detector array (DDA). It also specifies acceptance levels and calibration procedures. This section applies to the inspection of circular hollow parts.
