Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of platinum catalysts for ammonia oxidation to nitric acid. This standard is applicable to reticular platinum catalysts used in the oxidation of ammonia to produce nitric acid, hydrocyanic acid and caprolactam.
