Scope
This standard specifies the basic requirements for the design of emergency core cooling systems for second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, including operation, maintenance and test requirements directly related to the system design, but does not include specific design requirements for the system equipment. This standard is applicable to the design of emergency core cooling systems for second-generation improved pressurized water reactor nuclear power plants, and other nuclear power plants of the same type can refer to it for implementation.
