Scope

This standard specifies the film requirements, pinhole classification and evaluation rules for X-ray photographic inspection and assessment of pinholes (circular) in aluminum alloy castings. This standard applies to aluminum alloy castings with a transilluminated thickness not greater than 50mm. This standard does not apply to aluminum alloy die castings.
