Scope: This standard specifies the test equipment, specimens, test procedures, calculations and test reports of the test methods for longitudinal and transverse shear properties of polymer-based composite laminates. This standard applies to the determination of longitudinal and transverse shear properties of continuous fiber (unidirectional tape or fabric) reinforced polymer matrix composite laminates. The applicable composite material form is limited to the continuous fiber layer with the tensile load direction ±45° Plywood.
