- This standard specifies the specimen, test equipment, test procedure, test result calculation method and test report of the longitudinal and transverse shear test method for fiber reinforced plastics. This standard is applicable to the determination of longitudinal and transverse shear elastic modulus, longitudinal and transverse shear strength and longitudinal and transverse shear stress-strain curves of unidirectional fiber or fabric reinforced plastic plates.
