Scope
This part of GB/T 5275 specifies the method of continuously injecting calibration components from pure gas or other mixed gases into the balance gas through a syringe, thereby continuously preparing a mixed gas containing two or more components for calibration. Using premixed gas instead of pure gas (see Appendix A) can prepare mixed gas with very low volume fraction. The volume flow determines the volume fraction and can be calculated from the flow of a single gas or can be measured independently using an appropriate method given in ISO 6145-1. The advantage of the continuous injection method is that a large amount of mixed gas can be prepared continuously, and as long as an appropriate number of syringes are used or a single syringe contains a known multi-component mixed gas, multi-component mixed gas can be prepared as conveniently as binary mixed gas. mixed composition. This method can also conveniently increase the volume fraction of calibration components in the mixed gas through few steps. Therefore, it can also be used to evaluate some other characteristics of gas analyzers, such as the minimum detection limit, dead zone and accuracy. The relative expanded uncertainty of binary gas mixture prepared by this method (inclusion factor k=2) is 5%, and the applicable range is 10-5~10-2 (volume fraction).
