Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model naming, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of DC diaphragm air pumps for aquariums and similar purposes. This standard applies to DC diaphragm air pumps (hereinafter referred to as "air pumps") for aquariums and similar purposes with a rated DC voltage not exceeding 36 V, a rated current not exceeding 16 A, and a maximum exhaust pressure not exceeding 0.2 MPa.
