- This part provides guidelines for hand-transmitted vibration measurement and evaluation in the workplace according to GB/T 14790.1. This part of GB/T 14790 describes the measures that should be taken to calculate the total value of 8 h equal energy vibration (daily vibration exposure) and determine the daily exposure time of each operation. This section provides methods for determining relevant operations that should be considered when evaluating vibration exposure. This section applies to all occasions where the human body is exposed to (endures) vibrations transmitted to the arm system from hand-held or hand-guided machinery, vibrating workpieces, mobile or fixed machinery control devices.
