- This standard specifies the terms of agreement, personnel, equipment, test blocks, inspection timing, product surface status, sensitivity calibration, scanning, system review and recalibration, defect assessment and inspection reports for ultrasonic testing of rail transit wheels and rims. This standard is applicable to ultrasonic testing of rolled steel and cast steel integral wheels and rolled steel rims for railway locomotives and vehicles, urban rail transit vehicles.
