Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions of rail ultrasonic flaw detection, flaw detection principles, flaw detection methods, personnel requirements, flaw detection requirements, test blocks and sample rails, probes, instruments and equipment, signal-to-noise ratio, stability, operation, result judgment and marking, etc. . This standard is applicable to ultrasonic flaw detection of symmetrical section rails and asymmetric section rails for 37kg/m~75kg/m railways.
