- Scope
- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and labeling, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for recycled polyester staple fiber. This standard applies to recycled polyester staple fiber for yarns with a linear density of 0.8 dtex ~ 6.7 dtex produced by melt spinning from recycled polyester (PET), and recycled polyester staple fiber for non-woven fabrics with a linear density of 0.8 dtex ~ 22.2 dtex. The fiber and linear density are 0.8 dtex~33.3 dtex. The recycled polyester short fiber is used for filling. Regenerated polyester staple fibers whose linear density is not within the above range can be used as a reference. Other types of recycled polyester staple fibers can also be used as reference.
