This standard specifies the terms and definitions of discharge coils for high-voltage parallel capacitors, product models and product classifications, conditions of use, technical requirements, test classifications and test items, test requirements and test methods, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and factory documents. This standard is applicable to high-voltage shunt capacitors connected in parallel with high-voltage shunt capacitor banks in power systems with a rated frequency of 50 Hz and voltage levels of 6 kV to 66 kV and used to discharge the residual charge on the capacitor bank in a short period of time. Single-phase discharge coil (hereinafter referred to as discharge coil). When the discharge coil has a secondary winding, it can double as a voltage measurement and provide voltage signals for relay protection devices.
