Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of vacuum-driven pneumatic EGR valves for diesel exhaust gas recirculation. This standard applies to vacuum-driven pneumatic EGR valves (hereinafter referred to as EGR valves) for diesel exhaust gas recirculation in automobiles, tractors, engineering machinery, generator sets, and inland water vessels. Diesel exhaust gas recirculation pneumatic EGR valves for other purposes can also be used as a reference.
