Scope
This standard specifies the type and size, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging of loose steel flanges for iron-nickel copper pipes for ships (hereinafter referred to as loose steel flanges). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of loose steel flanges for iron-nickel copper pipes with system working pressure not greater than 1.6 MPa in ship pipelines such as fresh water, sea water, domestic sewage, sewage oil and water.
