- This standard specifies the test methods for determining the density and relative density of fiber reinforced plastics by buoyancy method and geometric method. This standard is applicable to the determination of the density and relative density of fiber-reinforced plastic plates, rods, tubes and molded samples. It includes two test methods: buoyancy method and geometric method, which can be selected according to the characteristics of the material and the agreement of the parties concerned.
