Scope
Owing to legal requirements such as the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG), the monitoring of suspended particulate matter with aerodynamic particle diameters < 10 ?m and < 2,5 microns is of the utmost importance. The standard specifies a non-fractionating sampling system for low-volume samplers (LVS) for the sampling of suspended particulate matter in ambient air and indoor air with a volume flow of (2,3 m3/h to 3,03/h).
