Scope: This standard specifies the environmental requirements, personnel requirements, testing method selection principles, instrument and equipment requirements, testing principles, testing conditions, testing procedures, failure criteria, etc. for sealing testing of aviation electronic components. This standard is applicable to the sealing test of avionics components with an inner cavity volume of 1×10cm to 20cm during the production, screening, acceptance and destructive physical analysis processes. It is also applicable to non-sealed components such as electrical connectors and tube shells. Device sealing testing. This standard is not applicable to sealing tests to test requirements such as waterproofness and moisture resistance.
