Scope

This standard specifies the types, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of three-phase and single-phase asynchronous motors for water pumps. This standard applies to three-phase, single-phase resistance starting, single-phase capacitor starting and single-phase capacitor running small-power asynchronous motors (hereinafter referred to as motors) coaxial with the water pump. All other similar motors derived from this series of motors can also be implemented with reference.
