Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, information signs, packaging, transportation and storage, safety of mobile lifting working platforms for bridge inspection and maintenance (hereinafter referred to as bridge inspection platforms) General principles of use are required. This standard applies to truss mobile bridge inspection platforms. This standard does not apply to special inspection and maintenance equipment fixedly installed on the lower part of the bridge.
