Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of powder metallurgy valve guides for internal combustion engines. This standard applies to powder metallurgy valve guides (hereinafter referred to as valve guides) for reciprocating piston internal combustion engines with a cylinder diameter less than or equal to 200 mm.
