Scope: This part of JB/T 6344 specifies the requirements for the design, manufacturing, inspection and acceptance of gear hobbing machines. This section applies to vertical hobbing machines (hereinafter referred to as "machine tools") with a maximum workpiece diameter of 80 mm to 2 000 mm. Vertical gear hobbing machines of other specifications can be used as a reference.
