Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, model preparation methods, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, markings, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of hydraulic log splitters powered by gasoline engines. This standard only applies to hydraulic log splitters powered by gasoline engines (hereinafter referred to as log splitters) operated by one person.
