Scope: This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements for cationic dyeable modified polyester pre-oriented yarn. This standard is applicable to cationic dye-dyeable modified polyester (CDP) pre-oriented yarn with a linear density of 55.0 dtex~1 000.0 dtex, a single filament linear density of 0.5 dtex~10.0 dtex, and a circular cross-section. Other types of modified polyester pre-oriented yarns dyeable with cationic dyes can be used as reference.
