- This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging, transportation and storage of mechanical watches (hereinafter referred to as "watches"). This standard applies to all types of watches using fork-type escapement speed regulators, and the corresponding watch movements can also be used as a reference.
