Scope: This specification is applicable to the performance testing of packing placed inside the tower for the purpose of mixture separation, including random packing and structured packing. The fillers referred to in this specification do not include fillers used for defoaming, defoaming, cooling and fire retardant purposes. This specification does not include testing of physical and chemical properties of fillers, such as mechanical strength, chemical composition, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, aging resistance, etc. of materials used in fillers. In addition to the list of cited standards given in this specification, the material selection, design and manufacturing of the test devices given in this specification should also comply with the relevant current national standards.
